Victoria Azarenka reachs first Grand Slam final

Third seed Victoria Azarenka reached her first Grand Slam final, surviving a second set fightback by defending champion Kim Clijsters, to secure a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 victory at the Australian Open.

Clijsters remains proud of her campaign.

Azarenka, ill face off against Maria Sharapova for the title on Saturday, after the 2008 champion beat Petra Kvitova 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
