Barbados Secondary Schools Football League Senior Tournament

Alexandra schools went down 4/3 on penalties to SJPP in the final of the Barbados Secondary Schools Football League Senior Tournament.

This after the scores were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation and extra time.

With Alexandra taking a 1-0 lead at half-time, a cheerful Broomes was seen chatting with some of the teachers and students of the Queen’s Street, St Peter School, and supporting the footballers in the Louis Lynch Stand.

But that joy turned to sorrow when SJPP equalized and later won the penalty shoot-out, 4-3.
