David Thompson Memorial Football Classic a success

Minister of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development, Steve Blackett has called the recently concluded David Thompson Memorial Constituency Council Football Classic, a success.

Mr. Blackett made the announcement over the weekend, and noted that the tournament, which ran for 7 weeks and involved 76 matches, helped to rekindle community spirit in the island.

He adds that there were no reports of violence and local vendors and service providers were given new business opportunities, while young men from all over the island were able to showcase their talents and team spirit to the country.
